Iran is willing to reinitiate nuclear negotiations with Washington as long as it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has declared.

Abbas Araghchi said solely negotiations was effective, and disclosed new appeals had come from intermediaries to restart discussions with the Trump administration. He claimed Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Iran could not yet permit the UN nuclear inspectorate to visit attacked atomic facilities for protective measures.

Navigating a Complex Route

The foreign minister is treading a challenging path since Iran aims to avoid appear to be acting from a stance of weakness, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had arisen stronger defensively and emotionally from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.

Iranian officials claimed they felt they had achieved a "magic solution" to the nuclear fuel concern in earlier negotiations, when it was settled an domestic cooperative with US participation could process nuclear material. Each party would have been able to assert triumph since domestic enrichment would have remained and the US could be certain that Iran's nuclear programme was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been agreed in the discussions that American atomic experts could work on Iranian soil, but that was a natural consequence of the cooperative offer. In what is characterized by Tehran representatives as the battle of restoration and reconstruction, the foreign minister said he was assured Iran's defence capabilities "are much stronger than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. Our entire military infrastructure have been reestablished. We acquired multiple understandings from this engagement; we have identified our personal limitations and the shortcomings of the enemy."

He stated: "We successfully passed this war. Our enrichment knowledge, which they intended to destroy, stays intact. The sites and machinery, if destroyed, will be reconstructed; what is crucial is the resolve of the Iranian people and then the unity of the country that they sought to undermine, but were unable to destroy. The citizens of Tehran have grown more resilient, more integrated, and more backing of the administration and the state in the aftermath of this invasion."
